If you are in need of assistance and would like your family to be adopted by area residents and/or businesses, you may register for the program by registering here.  Deadline to register is November 30, 2017. No registrations will be taken after this date.

We ask if possible, to purchase at a minimum the following for each family that is adopted:

  • 1 new outfit (shirt & pants) for each child ages 12 and under
  • 1 clothing gift certificate in the amount of $30 for each child 13-18
  • 1 new toy for each child 12 and under
  • 1 gift certificate for $20 for each child 13-18

Holiday Coloring Contest  
Pick up holiday coloring sheets at the Recreation Center front desk and return by Sunday, December 10th.  Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place for each age group.  All entries will be displayed at the Recreation Center starting Monday, December 11th.  Winners will be posted at the Recreation Center on Friday, December 15th.  Pick up your entries by Friday, December 22nd.
Age: 12 years and under     Fee: Free

Letters to Santa  
Write to Santa and let him know if you have been bad or good.  Santa will be accepting letters Wednesday, November 11th to Sunday, December 10th at 5:00pm.  He will write back and let children know that he received their requests.  Please make sure your address is printed clearly.  Send to*: Romeoville Recreation Department, C/O Santa, 900 West Romeo Road,  Romeoville, IL 60446 .
Grade: 4th and under     Fee: free

Parent’s Night Out  on 12/19 (5-8pm)
Christmas is just around the corner!  Need extra time without the kids to get some shopping done?  Sign your children up for a night of fun while you get some last minute errands or shopping done.  The night will be filled with lots of fun holiday activities, including a pizza party!  The event is 3 hours long, but you can drop off at a time that works best for you.  Register by December 1st.  Children must be potty trained.

Music Together Holiday Sing Along 12/4 – 12/18 (two times offered – 9:30-10:15amand 10:30-11:15am)
Enjoy a holiday music experience that will have your family singing, dancing and laughing together!  There will be new songs, as well as, childhood favorites.

CARNIVAL INFORMATION

Carnival entrance fees are in effect each day from 5:00pm – close.  There are NO charges to enter any  other area of the fest.

Carnival Entrance Fee:

Kids 10 & under = FREE

Family (children & parents together) = FREE

Individuals (11 yrs. & older) = $5

All Mega Pass holders = FREE

Senior citizens (65 yrs. & older) = FREE

• Admission is valid for one day only
• There will be in & out privileges after the fee is paid
• If you are in the carnival before 5:00pm, you can
stay in without paying. If you leave and come back
in, then you will be charged the fee (if applicable).

The Village of Romeoville invites individuals with special needs to ride the carnival rides for free.  All participants MUST register at the Recreation Center or with Northern Will County Special Recreation by Wednesday, August 2.  No additional tickets will be sold during this time slot.  Only those pre-registered will be admitted into the carnival.

Special Needs Night at Centennial Beach

Special Needs Nights    
Families with individuals who have special needs are invited to enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening after regular operating hours of Centennial Beach.

The shallow end and slide will be open Sundays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on June 18 and 25 and July 16 and 30. 

No registration is required. The cost is $3.00 per person at the door or you may apply your membership toward entry.

ADULTS ONLY

Weekend Adult Float
Float your cares away during the most relaxing time of the day! on Saturday and Sunday morning, from 9:00 a.m.-10:55 a.m., adults age 18 and older can swim, sun, or paddle around the Beach on an inner tube.

No morning float on June 11. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted inside the Beach until 11:00 a.m. 

Adult Float begins June 3. Cost is $8 for residents and $12 for nonresidents or apply your season membership twords entry.

 

Family Bingo & Pizza-Regular Price Begins July 11

Calling all parents, imagesgrandparents, aunts and uncles – join us for Family Bingo! Event includes 12 games of Bingo, a snack provided at the start, pizza and a drink at the halfway point, prizes for both adults and children and a consolation prize for all children at the end of the event. Take advantage of early bird pricing through Dec. 22! Registration closes Dec. 27. No walk-in registrations for this event. This is a per person event; every child and adult must register.
