Lego Robotics Academy
The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive, repeatable after school program where children learn to design, build, and program robots. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), this class is teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities.

Drawing Superheroes
This beginner’s class is where you will learn how to draw all your favorite superheroes. You will learn the basics in human figure proportions, superhero gear, and character design. Super powers are optional.

Pretty Princess Drawing
Learn how to draw cartoon princesses. We will learn how to draw long flowing hair, stunning dresses, and regal crowns. This is a beginners class to get you from doodles to damsels with no distress.

Community Basketball
This program will teach the game of basketball, develop a team concept, and socialization. Practice times will vary throughout the week and will be held at local elementary schools and the Recreation Center. There will be a player evaluation for players in 4th grade and higher. Players in kindergarten through 3rd grade will be placed on teams by the Athletic Supervisor and coaches. Practices will start the week of October 24th. Volunteer coaches are always needed.
The season begins in October for youth in kindergarten – 8th grade!
Youth Lacrosse
Fall is the time to PLAY LACROSSE! This 6-week camp is a great way for players to get a stick in their hands and learn from the coaches at New Wave Lacrosse. Beginners and intermediate players are welcome. Particpants will be seperated by age and skill level to ensure proper instruction level. This program is insructional and will focus on drills and stick work. Intermediate players will work on in-game situations. Beginners will learn the important techniques needed to compete in live games. This will include lots of fast-paced instructions and fun drills for all players. Short sided games will be worked in towards the end of the program.
