Mike experienced the true power of community when his wife suffered a brain injury in an auto accident and his community rallied around his family in full force. In return, he now devotes his time as the Executive Director of the Institute for Community, which owns and operates programs through the Friendship Centre at HighPoint. The Friendship Centre provides resources, support groups and education for families in the Romeoville/Bolingbrook area. Romeoville High School Band Annual Festival Night

Festival Night begins with a pasta dinner in the cafeteria at 4:30 p.m. with music provided by the RHS Jazz bands at 5:15 and 5:45 p.m. followed by a concert at 7 p.m. featuring all of band ensembles.The event is a fundraiser to support the RHS band program including a silent auction and items raffled during the concert. Dinner and concert tickets, $10. Concert only tickets, $5.
Lewis Univ. Spring Performing Arts Series features a performance by Andrew Spenser, “A Different Drummer…with Broken Instruments”
