|Positive Coaching Alliance(aka PCA) Mandatory Meeting for all Spring Prospective PAC Managers
|All Managers(Travel and In House) have to attend one of these PCA meetings:
Friday, 3/7/14 6:30 – 8:30 pm Indian Trail Middle School
Thursday, 3/13/14 6:30 – 8:30 pm Indian Trail Middle School
The Plainfield Park District requires all managers to be PCA trained. One cannot be a manager for the spring, without attending one of these sessions.

|PAC Baseball and Softball Evaluations: This Sunday 3/2/14
|Evaluations for any new player to PAC(excluding Coach Pitch!!!) and any player that has not played PAC in over a year, need to attend the annual PAC evaluation at:
Plainfield South High School
Sign in starts at 8:30 am
Evaluations from 9 am till 11 am
This will assure that the new players are not in a blind draft list but actually on the draft number list.
Bring gym attire, glove, batting helmet, and bat to the evaluations

Bronco – $175.00 (05/01/01 – 04/30/03)
Pony – $220.00 (05/01/99 – 04/30/01)
Colt/Palomino – $230.00 (05/01/95 – 04/30/99)
Coach Pitch Girls – $155.00 (01/01/07 – 12/31/09)
8U – $155.00 (01/01/05 – 12/31/06)
10U – $165.00 (01/01/03 – 12/31/04)
12U – $175.00 (01/01/01 – 12/31/02)
14U – $220.00 (01/01/99 – 12/31/00)
18U – $230.00 (01/01/95 – 12/31/98)
These rates do not include the activity and fundraiser buyout fees ($50 each per player). Fundraiser fees do not apply to Pony, Colt/Palomino, 14U, and 18U divisions.
If you’re interested in playing in Maverick Division, you must complete the registration process. It will default your child to Coach Pitch or Pinto. Once registration is completed, email the Registration Director firstname.lastname@example.org to request to be placed in Maverick.

|The 2014 Season is open for registration for Plainfield Independent Umpires. You must be 14 by April 1st in 2014 to qualify to umpire. It is open to all who want to umpire either baseball or softball for Plainfield Athletic Club in the 2014 Spring and Fall Season.
Membership fee can be paid by credit card, echeck, or mailed check. Follow the link below to register.

If you are an umpire with less than 2 years experience it is mandatory for you to attend a clinic, rules meeting, and organizational meeting. For all others they must attend the rules and organizational meeting.

|2013 BAT RULE CHANGE
|Effective January 1, 2013, all minus three (-3) bats used in PAC games must be BBCOR certified. All BBCOR approved bats shall be labeled with a silk screen or other permanent certification mark.
All other bats, must be certified as manufactured to achieve a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less. Legal bats will be stamped with “BPF 1.15” or there will be text on the barrel of the bat specifying that the bat is BPF 1.15 compliant.
Please note that this new bat rule does not apply to softball bats.
|Concession sign-ups will start in March, 2014 for the 2014 spring season.
|Just a reminder that the PAC will not issue helmets to teams for batting this season. Each player is responsible to provide their own helmet(NOCSAE approved). Also all girls softball players must have a cage on the front of the helmet and all boys ages 10 and under must also have a cage.

PSHS Softball Camp Flyer (REVISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
3/16/14 1 – 4 pm and 3/23/14 1 – 4 pm
Check-in time will begin at 12:30 p.m. Levels will include (8-9 yrs) (10-11 yrs) (12-13 yrs).
The focus of the clinic is to teach the fundamentals of the game. It is our objective to help the girls become better softball players and provide them with the means to reach that goal.
The clinic will include proper techniques of stretching, base running, throwing, hitting, bunting, pitching, and player positioning.
