In 1942, nearly 75 years ago, Harold Peacock shook hands with his first customer and his sustained growth and a spotless reputation has now brought the company’s largest expansion to Romeoville.
The Peacock Engineering Company, headquartered in Geneva, Illinois
currently has four modern facilities totaling over 1.2 million square feet and 1,700 employees just recently increased its operational capacity by nearly 45% by leasing the 531,523 square foot facility at 1001 Crossroads Parkway in Romeoville.

With both primary and secondary packaging lines, the Romeoville facility will be uniquely qualified to lead Peacock’s growth as they move toward their Diamond Anniversary. The secondary packaging lines began production August 1st with a target date of October 1stto commence primary packaging applications under the auspices of the USDA. Employment at the Romeoville plant is expected to increase to nearly 400 employees as new lines and new customers arrive.
