Will County Declared a Disaster Area–Residents May Be Eligible for Assistance

Romeoville residents who have damage due to water and flooding from the recent storm, may be eligible for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) assistance, as well as IEMA
(Illinois Emergency Management Agency) resources.

After the water recedes, residents are encouraged to:
  • Contact the Will County EMA office by calling the Flood Hotline at 815-740-4399 or by clicking here. EMA will assess the damage and then contact IEMA. IEMA will contact FEMA.
  • Document any damage with photographs and meticulous, time specific notes.
